From there, we focus on unlocking her potential through growth opportunities, intentional mentorship, and skill-building experiences. The journey culminates in becoming the builder—a young woman who walks with clarity, builds with purpose, and leads with legacy in mind.

The name also pays tribute to the biblical legacy of Sheerah, who built three cities: Uzzen Sheerah, Upper Beth Horon, and Lower Beth Horon (1 Chronicles 7:24)—places of strength, vision, and permanence. H.U.B. Scholars™ stand on the same foundation.
The H.U.B. Scholarship Gala is the annual fundraising event for the H.U.B. Scholars™ program. It is an elegant evening dedicated to honoring young women leaders, awarding scholarships, and rallying community support to invest in the next generation of builders.
Each year, guests, sponsors, and partners gather to sow into the lives of young women (ages 17 to 25) enrolled in post-secondary education—whether college, university, or trade school—who are committed to building with boldness, purpose, and legacy.
Through generous giving and partnership, we ensure that these scholars are not just seen but fully supported.
More than just a celebration, this gala is a meaningful commissioning and a symbolic passing of the baton. Each scholar receives a scholarship and an official charge to carry what she has been called to build, whether in business, community leadership, education, the arts, skilled trades, or other fields of impact.
